Traditional holes leave too much between them.
CAEL replaces the familiar row of holes with a hidden nylon micro-adjustable track inside a full-grain leather strap.
Instead of settling for the nearest notch, you adjust the belt in precise three-millimetre clicks. The nylon track is durable and flexible, not plastic, while the outside stays clean. The fit can change after lunch, on a long drive or whenever the day asks it to.

Cut once. Wear your size.
Each CAEL belt arrives at a generous 130 cm and is trimmed from the buckle end for a made-for-you length.
Trim slowly
Open the buckle clamp, mark the strap and take a conservative first cut. You can always remove a little more.
Lock it in
Return the strap to the high-quality buckle and close the clamp firmly. The cut end stays hidden once assembled.

Feed the strap through the buckle until the internal nylon track engages, then move one click at a time until the fit feels right.

What makes CAEL different from plastic track belts?
CAEL uses a hidden nylon micro-adjustable track inside a full-grain leather strap, paired with a high-quality buckle. The goal is precise adjustment without the brittle feel or visible wear of ordinary plastic track systems.
What if I am between traditional belt sizes?
That is exactly what the hidden track is designed for. The three-millimetre increments give you many more useful positions than a traditional row of holes.
Can I shorten the belt again later?
Yes, provided there is still enough strap to reach your preferred fit. Take a small amount at a time and test between cuts.
What if I need a different size?
Your first exchange is free within Australia. Because a trimmed belt has been personalised to your length, contact us before cutting if you are uncertain. Change-of-mind returns are not offered; see our refund policy for full terms.
How should I care for the belt?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, allow any moisture to dry naturally and avoid soaking, harsh cleaners or prolonged heat. Store it loosely rolled when not in use.
